
The material contains a lesson plan scenario with a description of a few activities for teaching students about famous women in STEM throughout history, domino cards for consolidating the new acquired information, and information sheets for every woman mentioned in the material.

A minimum of 3 x 45 min.
TEACHING AID:
For the icebreaker, a flipchart and markers (or a whiteboard) in order to write students’ ideas.
Lesson plan scenario – All the materials needed are included in the material. The teacher has to print the domino cards and the information sheets (or make a PowerPoint and present it to the students).
A computer and projector can be useful.
TEACHING PRACTICE (STEP BY STEP):
The main goal of the material is to show students that there have always been women in STEM, and that the only barriers for girls in choosing a STEM career are social and prejudicial.
The activities are described step by step and can be used at all ages and levels and they are a good starting point for career orientation. They can be used to encourage talented girls to pursue their dreams, even if they feel too hard to achieve.
