
This article shows how to give visibility and value to the knowledge and stories of scientific women. It provides some ideas for introducing these women’s work to the high school mathematics classroom.
The information presented gives a framework for studies on science, technology and feminism. It also explains the educational framework and concludes by offering some practical ideas to apply in the mathematics classroom through the history of different women mathematicians and some of her contributions to this science.
