Elisa Leonida Zamfirescu (b. 10 November 1887, Galați – d. 25 November 1973, Bucharest) was a Romanian engineer and inventor, head of the laboratories of the Geological Institute of Romania. She was a member of the General Association of Romanian Engineers and a member of the International Association of University Women, the first woman engineer in Europe and the first woman engineer in the world, specialising in chemistry.
